Weekly Exercise: Brief Past Life Meditation Guide

*Before you begin, it is important to release any expectations that you may have and remain open to what may come to you during this meditation.

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can relax without any distractions.

  2. Once you have relaxed, set the intention to explore a past life. You can do this by silently stating your intention or asking a question related to your past life that you would like to explore.

  3. Become an observer of your thoughts, and allow images, sensations, or emotions to come to your awareness. Trust whatever comes up, even if it seems unrelated or unclear.

  4. Pay attention to any specific details, such as clothing, surroundings, or people. Take note of any emotions or insights that arise during the meditation.

  5. When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

  • *Tip: keep a notebook with you to record the information/details you are shown.

  • *Important: If you encounter any challenging or uncomfortable experiences or emotions, remind yourself that you are safe and protected. You can choose to move on from that scene or ask for guidance and understanding.

After you had completed your meditation, allow yourself to ponder over what you have experienced in order to make connections between it and your current life's circumstances, relationships, emotions, etc. Oftentimes, the past lives that make themselves known correlate in some way to our present situation and can be used as a tool for personal insight, growth, and healing.
